Week 5 - What you need to bring (w/c 8th Aug)
Hey Everyone!
Another week of camp is upon us and this weeks theme is Animal Kingdom.
ust a quick note on what you need to bring.
Everyday please bring:
- lunch box with enough food for morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack.
- water bottle
- weather appropriate clothing, it's going to be warm this week so this needs to include a sunhat, suncream and sunglasses please.
This week we have swimming on Tuesday and Thursday for everyone, Wednesday for Wild explorers and the Survival group and Friday for juniors. Please send swimming costume, towel, goggles and a swim hat is optional.
On Tuesday and Thursday we run a small tuck shop which is where the children can buy little treats that all cost 50p each (please send no more than £2).
On Tuesday the Juniors will need to bring a Teddy bear for bear day. We will be having a teddy bears picnic, going on a bear hunt, making bear caves and they will make up a big audience for juniors got talent. Please don't send their most prized bear (could be any form of teddy, I'm going to bring a polar bear teddy) we don't want any upset children if something were to happen. We will make sure the bears are kept safe but we would rather be safe than sorry.
On Wednesday we are doing an animal fancy dress day. There will be prizes for the best dressed campers from each group. Maybe even think outside the box, maybe a unicorn, bird, dragon, duck whatever you could think of!
On Thursday it is bikes and scooter day. This means camper's can bring in their bikes, scooter, skateboard, rollerblades etc with them to camp. Please make sure they come with a helmet, we cannot allow them to ride without one and I don't want to see any unhappy campers that can't ride their bike because they don't have a helmet.
Thursday is a busy day, we will also be having a huge camp water fight! Children can bring their own (labelled) water guns.
On top of that we have loads planned, like under the sea themed games, bug hunts and so much more.
I know there is lots of things to remember on different days and we appreciate your support with this, it is what helps us with having so much fun at camp!
