Week 4 - Pirate Week

This week the theme is Pirate week!

Wednesday we will have a fancy dress day, please encourage your children to come dressed as all things Pirate, from Jack Sparrow to Parrots to Captain Hook. There will be prizes for the best costume in each Explorer group. 

We will have swimming on Monday (everyone), Tuesday (Wilds and Seniors and Survival) and Wednesday and Thursday (everyone including survival). We will run some pirate themed games during our time in the pool. 

Other activities will include human battleships, Shoe Golf and Danish Longball. In arts and crafts we will be making life sized Pirate ships (Please bring in any cardboard or recyclable items to help build the best ships possible), we will be making treasure maps and using them to find the treasure during the week too.
