Gruffalo Hunt!

After the fairies were too scared to come out yesterday as a result of the naughty gruffalo stalking the Ranby woods, both the mini explorers and the junior explorers took it upon themselves to go on a gruffalo hunt! Firstly, we made 'wanted' posters so that the groundsmen at Ranby can also look out for him! We found footprints and heard rustling in the leaves! One of our minis brought in a sandwich for the gruffalo to try and make him happy and less mean! We left the sandwich under the bridge and he had been and had the sandwich before lunch , although he hadn't eaten his crusts! A letter was left and now we know the gruffalo wants to be friends and he isn't really scary!
