Ghyll Royd Summer Camp- Week 1

Hi all,

Its Daniel here- the site manager of camp. 

Another quick update with the details of Week 1 for all on Camp!

The weekly theme this week is Colour Wars!

Monday is United Monday- we will be playing lots of team building/ice breaker games to get to know all our wonderful campers, as well as some bushcraft activities with fire and marshmallows.

Tuesday is Throwdown Tuesday- We will be playing and completing lots of games and challenges throughout the day to contribute towards our Colour War Points.

Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday- We will be making our own monsters, combining sports together (Dodgefoot) and culminating in a Water Fight! (Extra Clothes are advised).

Thursday is Go' in Green Thursday- Lots of outdoor activities including Bikes and Scooters (please bring your own) and potting our own plants!!

Friday is Celebration Friday- We will start with some competitive sports before decorating and partying the afternoon away, we will finish with a rewards assembly to celebrate some campers who have really embodied our values.
