Week 1 Highlights

Hi Everyone, 

We hope your children have all enjoyed the first week back on camp just as much as we have. 

This week saw the return of our campers favourite activities including Dodgeball, Bench ball, Capture the flag and many more. With the introduction of new games quickly joining the list of camp classics. 

We kept temperatures high on Friday morning lighting fires in the woods and roasting marshmallows. More bush craft activities will be added to the program next week such as den and bug hotel building. 

And of course, swimming is back with a splash! I think we can all agree it has been the most missed activity over the last couple of summers. Water fights were also back this week when the sun was shining. We hope we can continue to use these activities in the coming weeks.

Our arts and crafts sessions were following the exploring the world theme. We made origami on 'Asia day' on Tuesday. On Africa day we painted the 'big 5' in their natural habitat. And on 'Australia day' we made some aboriginal hand print art. 

Next week is set to be even better, so keep your eyes pealed for another post with information for next week.
