Summer Camp Week 1

Hi Everybody,

T- 48 hours until Summer camp 2022 starts!!!

Here is what’s to come this week.

This week’s theme is ‘Explore the World’. Each day will be themed with a different continent. On Wednesday we will be having a fancy-dress day, the theme is ‘explores or countries of the world themed’. Through the week, we will be playing a wide variety of games from around the world, giving the children an insight into what it’s like growing up in different countries.

With the weather forecast being hot and sunny every day please ensure your child has sun cream on when they arrive on camp and also spare with them in the day so we can make sure they don’t get burnt. Please also pack a sun hat and a water bottle. We will make sure there is ample opportunity for them to refill their water bottles during the day.

On Monday we will be running water fights, if your child would like to bring water gun and spare clothes this would be ideal. We do have some water guns to provide.

All campers will have the opportunity to swim on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. If your child would like to swim, please make sure they bring a swimming costume, towel, goggles, swim hat (if they would like). We will provide arm bands and other flotation devices.

And finally, if anyone at home has any recyclable items, we would love to be able to use them in our arts and crafts sessions through the summer. These can be brought in throughout your child’s time on camp. Please only usable items.
