TimeTable and other reminders

Sorry for the late post!

Just a quick  reminder that we’re a no-nut site here at the Mount, that unfortunately includes things like pesto and even coconut for our children with tree-nut allergies, as we’re trying to make this the safest environment possible for our kids!

Additionally, here's a sneak peek at next week's timetable for our Junior and Wilds groups! (Minis, you’ll have to wait just a little bit longer to discover what you’re doing next week!) Our theme for the upcoming week is Science and Discovery, with each day focusing on a new and interesting topic to discover.

On Monday our juniors and wilds will be making bottle rockets, chalk galaxies, spaceships from nature and creating camp-wide collage in our space themed monday!

Tuesday brings fun in the forms of our Eco Scavenger Hunt, Survival Walk, Swimming and much more on a day all about plants!

Wednesday is all about the Earth, which means creating volcanoes and geysers with bicarbonate of soda, and recreating tiny whirlpools before cooling down with some yoga and meditation.

Thursday is a day focused on Sustainability. We’ll be creating a cityscape from junk modelling materials (So if anyone could bring recycling in for Thursday, that’d be brilliant!), competing in a similarly recycled obstacle course, built by the children themselves! Finally, we’ll cool off with a session in the pool for Swimming!

Celebrating Friday comes in the form of our award-an-award activity, where the children will create an award for a child they think appropriate based on their experiences throughout the week! We’ll recap on our favourite memories from the past 5 days, whilst celebrating and passing out awards around our very own campfire!

Our seniors will be focusing on creating challenges, progressing toward daily goals and achievements whilst occasionally jumping in with our wilds to enjoy some competitive activities!
