Prior to attendance on Camp
To help make sure we can meet the needs of your child on camp, we have created an Additional Support Assessment (ASA) form, that runs alongside the SEN information section on our booking system. This form should be filled in by parent's prior to their child attending camp. The form will ask a series of questions designed to help us identify if we can meet your child's needs on camp. You can access this form by contacting our customer service team by email at email@example.com who will send it across to you.
You are more than welcome to book a space on camp for your child prior to filling in this form to make sure their place is secure. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that your child will be able to attend camp.
This is because if we review your ASA form and come to the unfortunate conclusion that we cannot meet your child's needs we will have to cancel your booking. This will be free of charge and any payments made up front will be refunded.
Our main priority all the time on camp is that the children attending are safe and happy. If we do feel like we cannot meet your child's needs this time, we will look into potential amendments we can make in the future so that we can include your child.
Whilst on camp
If your child's booking for camp has been accepted, you will then be provided with a 'United Adventure Camps Passport' (also known as an 'all about me' booklet). The passport is a small booklet that we have created which you and your child will be able to fill in and personalise. This passport has space for you to include information that will be useful for the leaders working with your child.
